Unpacking your Miti Mat
When you first receive your Miti Mat, due to packaging and transportation it can arrive with some creases in it. If necessary, we recommend using an iron (on very low heat) to gently smooth over areas as required.
Due to the nature of foam-based materials, please allow up to 24 hours for your Miti Mat to fully expand to its full size and thickness.
Note: We do not recommend placing any furniture on your Miti mat, due to the weight, which can compress the foam material and hinder its original shape.
Miti Mat Cleaning & Maintenance
Routine Cleaning:
Our Miti mat is intentionally designed to resist stains and facilitate easy cleaning. The top surface, made from high quality flannel allows most spills to be effortlessly wiped away, and the mat can be vacuumed as needed. Spot cleaning or steam cleaning are viable options, and typically, the mat will dry within 24 hours. For a wet clean, hanging the mat afterward can help expedite the drying process.
When dealing with dry spills such as crumbs, vacuuming is simple. However, for damp or sticky spills, utilizing wet wipes or a damp cloth can help remove the liquid, erasing any marks.
Occasional Care:
Sprinkling baking soda on the Miti mat's surface and allowing it to rest for 10 minutes before vacuuming aids in maintaining its freshness. Pet-specific carpet powders can also be used, but it's essential to follow the manufacturer's guidelines and initially test it on a small, inconspicuous area.
Consider exposing your Miti mat to sunlight once a month, placed in a clean, dry spot like a balcony, patio, or porch. Sun exposure helps reduce odors, as UV rays combat odor-causing bacteria. However, avoid leaving it outside for more than a day and ensure it doesn't get wet in the rain.
Thorough Cleaning:
For a deeper cleanse, handwash your Miti mat gently with cold water and hang it to dry. Spot wash cleaners are acceptable, yet it's advisable to test a small area first, as different machines and cleaning solutions may have varying effects. Remember not to use excessive water at once, as it can make the foam excessively heavy.

- While the mat is stain-resistant, promptly wipe off moisture and liquids, as leaving them for extended periods may affect the surface.
Are your mats safe for children and pets?
Absolutely, our mats were designed with safety in mind. They are made from non-toxic materials and are suitable for children, pets and the whole family.
How long does shipping take?
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding pre-orders). Shipping times may vary depending on your location. Once your order is processed, you will receive a tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment.
Do you ship internationally?
We provide FREE shipping New Zealand wide! For international orders, we currently only offer shipping to Australia for the time being. Shipping times may change depending on your location (rural) and current congestion times e.g. Christmas period, shipping may take longer. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for more info.
How do I track my order?
You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been processed and shipped.
What is your return and refund policy?
We offer a 30 day return policy.
Our items must be in their original packaging and unused. You must reach out to us within 30 days of receiving your order, once the return is approved, it must be sent by you within 14 days. You will be required to cover postage costs. Please note that returns must be shipped; we are unable to accept items returned in person to our warehouse.
Changes to your order (such as cancellations, size, color or shipping address) immediately after ordering will not be accepted due to our processing times. Please ensure you place the correct details when ordering from our website.

Do you offer pre-orders?
Pre-orders are only available when our upcoming products are scheduled for release and will only be offered for a limited time before the release date. This allows you to secure your desired items in advance and be among the first to receive them once stock becomes available. Pre-orders are subject to stock availability and will only be offered when noted as a 'Pre-order' item on our website.
Do you sell plain, non-custom designed mats?
